In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $2.57T MX, 6.82% more than the previous quarter.

According DENUE 2024, Scenic and Sightseeing Transportation registered 1,165 economic units. The states with the highest number of economic units were Baja California Sur (175), Jalisco (146), and Oaxaca (130).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $4.11B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Baja California Sur ($854M MX) and Quintana Roo ($536M MX).

For its part, total income reached $4.15B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Baja California Sur ($869M MX) and Quintana Roo ($539M MX).

Economic activities are related if they require similar knowledge or inputs. In 2014 in Scenic and Sightseeing Transportation the states with the highest affinity were Sonora (0.77), Baja California Sur (0.7), Chihuahua (0.69), Colima (0.68), and Sinaloa (0.68).

In the second quarter of 2024, Transportation and Warehousing recorded a gross domestic product of $2.57T MX, evidencing an increase of 6.82% compared to the previous quarter and an increase of 10.9% compared to the same period of the previous year.

According to data from the Economic Census 2019,  938 economic units were totaled in Scenic and Sightseeing Transportation, highlighting Baja California Sur (155), Jalisco (133), and Oaxaca (99).

Total gross production was $4.11B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Baja California Sur ($854M MX) and Quintana Roo ($536M MX).

Total income reached $4.15B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Baja California Sur ($869M MX) and Quintana Roo ($539M MX).

According to dato from Economic Census 2014, Scenic and Sightseeing Transportation had a total of 1,836 economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of economic units were Los Cabos (294), Puerto Vallarta (246), and La Paz (147)

Total income eached $3.83B MX and the municipalities with the highest income were Los Cabos ($715M MX), Cuauhtémoc ($373M MX), and Mexicali ($349M MX).

Total expenditures were $2.42B MX and the municipalities with the highest expenditures were Los Cabos ($398M MX), Mexicali ($242M MX), and Cuauhtémoc ($235M MX).

On the other hand, in 2014 there were 13806 employees dependent on economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of employees were Los Cabos (2.55k), Benito Juárez (1.28k), and Mexicali (960).

According to the age of the economic units, the distribution of those that obtained financing was 26.5% of the recently created (up to 2 years) units, 21.5% of the youth (3 to 5 years) units, 20.2% of the adults (6 to 10 years) units, and 18.3% of the seniors (over 10 years) units.

The states with the highest percentage of economic units that received financing were Sonora (60%), Coahuila de Zaragoza (50%), Guanajuato (45%), Hidalgo (38.5%), and Puebla (31.6%).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, the main problems faced by the economic units of Scenic and Sightseeing Transportation with up to 10 workers are high costs of raw materials (16.6%), public insecurity (15.5%), unfair competition problems (15.1%), and another problems (13.2%).
