According DENUE 2024, Retail Trade of Health Care Items registered 103,671 economic units. The states with the highest number of economic units were Estado de México (17,120), Ciudad de México (11,826), and Jalisco (7,552).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $91.6B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($16.1B MX) and Estado de México ($10.3B MX).

For its part, total income reached $283B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($45.6B MX) and Estado de México ($28B MX).
