In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $3.43T MX, 6.92% more than the previous quarter.
According DENUE 2024, Retail Trade in Supermarkets and Department Stores registered 72,789 economic units. The states with the highest number of economic units were Estado de México (5,482), Nuevo León (5,099), and Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave (4,388).
According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $542B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Estado de México ($60.5B MX) and Ciudad de México ($46.5B MX).
For its part, total income reached $1.7T MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Estado de México ($188B MX) and Ciudad de México ($150B MX).
Economic activities are related if they require similar knowledge or inputs. In 2014 in Retail Trade in Supermarkets and Department Stores the states with the highest affinity were Sonora (0.84), Chihuahua (0.79), Nuevo León (0.73), Coahuila de Zaragoza (0.73), and Sinaloa (0.73).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, 62,316 economic units were totaled in Retail Trade in Supermarkets and Department Stores, highlighting Nuevo León (4,432), Estado de México (4,245), and Tamaulipas (3,867).
Total gross production was $542B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Estado de México ($60.5B MX) and Ciudad de México ($46.5B MX).
Total income reached $1.7T MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Estado de México ($188B MX) and Ciudad de México ($150B MX).

According to dato from Economic Census 2014, Retail Trade in Supermarkets and Department Stores had a total of 116,952 economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of economic units were Reynosa (3.65k), Monterrey (2.85k), and Tijuana (2.61k)
