In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $3.43T MX, 6.92% more than the previous quarter.

According DENUE 2024, Retail Sale of Textiles, Jewelery, Clothing Accessories and Footwear registered 279,132 economic units. The states with the highest number of economic units were Estado de México (34,853), Ciudad de México (24,544), and Jalisco (24,189).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $121B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($22.4B MX) and Estado de México ($13.7B MX).

For its part, total income reached $301B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($55.6B MX) and Estado de México ($33.8B MX).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019,  260,733 economic units were totaled in Retail Sale of Textiles, Jewelery, Clothing Accessories and Footwear, highlighting Estado de México (32,829), Ciudad de México (23,940), and Jalisco (22,847).

Total income eached $490B MX and the municipalities with the highest income were Cuauhtémoc ($36.6B MX), Guadalajara ($18.1B MX), and León ($14.1B MX).

Total expenditures were $390B MX and the municipalities with the highest expenditures were Cuauhtémoc ($28.7B MX), Guadalajara ($14.8B MX), and León ($11.2B MX).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, the distribution of economic units according to size that had access to financing was 16.7% units with up to 10 people, 30.4% units with 11 to 50 people, 44.3% units with 51 to 250 people, and 45.8% units with 251 and more people.

According to the age of the economic units, the distribution of those that obtained financing was 18.2% of the recently created (up to 2 years) units, 16.9% of the youth (3 to 5 years) units, 16% of the adults (6 to 10 years) units, and 16.7% of the seniors (over 10 years) units.

The states with the highest percentage of economic units that received financing were Colima (26.4%), Campeche (25%), Sonora (24.8%), Nayarit (24.5%), and Baja California Sur (24%).
