In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $3.43T MX, 6.92% more than the previous quarter.

According DENUE 2024, Retail Sale of Stationery, Leisure and other Items for Personal Use registered 317,315 economic units. The states with the highest number of economic units were Estado de México (53,635), Ciudad de México (37,967), and Jalisco (22,378).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $98.3B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($24.5B MX) and Estado de México ($12.6B MX).

For its part, total income reached $267B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($67.5B MX) and Estado de México ($32.8B MX).
