In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $2.57T MX, 6.82% more than the previous quarter.

According DENUE 2024, Inland Water Transportation registered 184 economic units. The states with the highest number of economic units were Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave (45), Guerrero (40), and Tabasco (17).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $458M MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Chiapas ($245M MX) and Quintana Roo ($132M MX).

For its part, total income reached $463M MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Chiapas ($245M MX) and Quintana Roo ($137M MX).

Economic activities are related if they require similar knowledge or inputs. In 2014 in Inland Water Transportation the states with the highest affinity were Baja California Sur (0.61), Sonora (0.61), Chihuahua (0.6), Nuevo León (0.56), and Coahuila de Zaragoza (0.56).

In the second quarter of 2024, Transportation and Warehousing recorded a gross domestic product of $2.57T MX, evidencing an increase of 6.82% compared to the previous quarter and an increase of 10.9% compared to the same period of the previous year.

According to data from the Economic Census 2019,  303 economic units were totaled in Inland Water Transportation, highlighting Guerrero (57), Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave (51), and Jalisco (38).

Total gross production was $458M MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Chiapas ($245M MX) and Quintana Roo ($132M MX).

Total income reached $463M MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Chiapas ($245M MX) and Quintana Roo ($137M MX).

According to dato from Economic Census 2014, Inland Water Transportation had a total of 324 economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of economic units were Aquismón (72), Acapulco de Juárez (48), and Florencio Villarreal (45)

Total income eached $204M MX and the municipalities with the highest income were Aquismón ($118M MX), San José de Gracia ($27M MX), and Tenosique ($19.6M MX).

Total expenditures were $160M MX and the municipalities with the highest expenditures were Aquismón ($103M MX), San José de Gracia ($16M MX), and Tenosique ($12.3M MX).

On the other hand, in 2014 there were 1302 employees dependent on economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of employees were Aquismón (663), San José de Gracia (168), and Tenosique (147).
