The average age of Cashiers, Tellers and Payers was 33.1 years. The workforce was distributed in 28.4% men with an average salary of $6.25k MX and, 71.6% women with average salary of $5.74k MX.

The best average salaries received by Cashiers, Tellers and Payers were in Tabasco ($11.4k MX), Baja California Sur ($9.5k MX), and Coahuila de Zaragoza ($7.5k MX) while the workforce was larger in Ciudad de México (63.1k), Estado de México (57.7k), and Nuevo León (56.4k).

In terms of industries, the best average salaries were in Higher Technical Education Schools ($14k MX), Electric Power Generation, Transmission, Distribution and Commercialization ($12.4k MX), and Fishing ($11k MX), while the workforce was concentrated on Retail Trade of Groceries and Food (220k), Multiple Banking (96.6k), and Retail Trade of Health Care Items (50.3k).

71.7% of the total informal workers correspond to women with an average salary of $4.47k MX and 28.3% to men with an average salary of $7.03k MX.

At the level of states, Yucatán had the highest percentage of informal workers with 45.6% corresponding to 10.8k from 23.8k workers, while the state with the lowest percentage of informal workers was Ciudad de México with a 10.7% corresponding to 6.78k from 63.1k workers.

Comparing the first quarter of 2021 and the second quarter of 2024, the main positive variations occurred in Ciudad de México and San Luis Potosí with an increase of 9.8k (18.4%) and 6.96k (59.3%), respectively. On the other hand, the negative variations were accentuated in Estado de México and Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave with a decrease of 34k (37.1%) and 8.7k (21.5%), respectively.
