In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $1.33T MX, 19.4% more than the previous quarter.
According DENUE 2024, Support Activities for Animal Production registered 212 economic units. The states with the highest number of economic units were Jalisco (20), Estado de México (20), and San Luis Potosí (18).
According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $112M MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Coahuila de Zaragoza ($96.2M MX) and Tamaulipas ($11.8M MX).
For its part, total income reached $112M MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Coahuila de Zaragoza ($96.2M MX) and Tamaulipas ($11.8M MX).
Economic activities are related if they require similar knowledge or inputs. In 2014 in Support Activities for Animal Production the states with the highest affinity were Chihuahua (0.74), Sonora (0.73), Coahuila de Zaragoza (0.71), Nuevo León (0.71), and Baja California (0.66).
