In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $680B MX, 20.3% more than the previous quarter.

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $3.84B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($1.46B MX) and Nuevo León ($406M MX).

For its part, total income reached $4.02B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($1.51B MX) and Nuevo León ($450M MX).

Economic activities are related if they require similar knowledge or inputs. In 2014 in Scientific Research and Development Services the states with the highest affinity were Chihuahua (0.74), Nuevo León (0.74), Sonora (0.71), Coahuila de Zaragoza (0.7), and Baja California (0.68).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019,  411 economic units were totaled in Scientific Research and Development Services, highlighting Ciudad de México (82), Jalisco (39), and Nuevo León (33).

Total gross production was $3.84B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($1.46B MX) and Nuevo León ($406M MX).

Total income eached $3.13B MX and the municipalities with the highest income were Benito Juárez ($1.28B MX), Cuauhtémoc ($582M MX), and Tehuacán ($156M MX).
