In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $680B MX, 20.3% more than the previous quarter.

For its part, total income reached $72.2B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($32.4B MX) and Nuevo León ($7.57B MX).
