In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $778B MX, 2.32% more than the previous quarter.

According DENUE 2024, Rooming and Boarding Houses, Dormitories, and Workers' Camps registered 3,760 economic units. The states with the highest number of economic units were Chiapas (423), Oaxaca (342), and Estado de México (298).

For its part, total income reached $2.2B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($510M MX) and Quintana Roo ($291M MX).

Economic activities are related if they require similar knowledge or inputs. In 2014 in Rooming and Boarding Houses, Dormitories, and Workers' Camps the states with the highest affinity were Sonora (0.7), Baja California Sur (0.66), Chihuahua (0.66), Colima (0.63), and Sinaloa (0.62).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019,  3,538 economic units were totaled in Rooming and Boarding Houses, Dormitories, and Workers' Camps, highlighting Chiapas (405), Oaxaca (322), and Estado de México (288).

Total gross production was $2.18B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($492M MX) and Quintana Roo ($291M MX).

According to dato from Economic Census 2014, Rooming and Boarding Houses, Dormitories, and Workers' Camps had a total of 6,477 economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of economic units were Guadalajara (210), Oaxaca de Juárez (198), and Carmen (120)

Total income eached $2.7B MX and the municipalities with the highest income were Mazatlán ($532M MX), Puerto Peñasco ($229M MX), and Carmen ($121M MX).

Total expenditures were $1.48B MX and the municipalities with the highest expenditures were Mazatlán ($340M MX), Puerto Peñasco ($67.7M MX), and Carmen ($64.5M MX).

On the other hand, in 2014 there were 20694 employees dependent on economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of employees were Puerto Peñasco (1.82k), Mazatlán (693), and Oaxaca de Juárez (690).
