The workforce of Realtors during third quarter of 2024 was 93.8k people, whose salary averaged $7.97k MX working around 38.1 hours per week.

The average age of Realtors was 46.4 years. The workforce was distributed in 44.6% men with an average salary of $8.24k MX and, 55.4% women with average salary of $7.76k MX.

The best average salaries received by Realtors were in Coahuila de Zaragoza ($24.8k MX), Tlaxcala ($22.8k MX), and Baja California Sur ($22.1k MX) while the workforce was larger in Ciudad de México (11.3k), Estado de México (10.3k), and Nuevo León (6.68k).

In terms of industries, the best average salaries were in Residential Building Construction ($13.3k MX), Financial Institutions for Economic Developmen ($10.5k MX), and Financial Institutions for Economic Development ($10.5k MX), while the workforce was concentrated on Residential Building Construction (6.97k), Legal Services (2.45k), and General Public Administration (11.8%).

58.7% of the total informal workers correspond to women with an average salary of $6.74k MX and 41.3% to men with an average salary of $7.42k MX.

At the level of states, Tamaulipas had the highest percentage of informal workers with 100% corresponding to 763 from 763 workers, while the state with the lowest percentage of informal workers was Tabasco with a 6.89% corresponding to 21 from 305 workers.

In the same period, an average salary of $7.97k MX was observed, registering an increase of 11.1%, compared to the second quarter of 2024 ($7.18k MX).

The states with the highest number of Realtors during the third quarter of 2024 were Ciudad de México (11.3k), Estado de México (10.3k), and Nuevo León (6.68k)

Comparing the first quarter of 2021 and the third quarter of 2024, the main positive variations occurred in Estado de México and Nuevo León with an increase of 4.36k (72.9%) and 1.97k (42%), respectively. On the other hand, the negative variations were accentuated in Sinaloa and Jalisco with a decrease of 2.52k (53.2%) and 1.99k (29.7%), respectively.

The states with the best average salaries for Realtors during third quarter of 2024 were Coahuila de Zaragoza ($24.8k MX), Tlaxcala ($22.8k MX), and Baja California Sur ($22.1k MX)

Comparing the first quarter of 2021 and the third quarter of 2024, the positive salary growth was higher in Coahuila de Zaragoza and Baja California Sur with an increase of $12.5k MX (101%) and $8.6k MX (63.7%), respectively. Por otro lado, las variaciones salariales negativas se acentuaron en Nayarit and Tabasco with a decrease of $24.1k MX (78%) and $14.8k MX (81.6%), respectively.

The workforce of Realtors during the third quarter of 2024 was higher in the age group with 35 to 44 years concentrating 22.2k workers of which 56.1% corresponds to formal employment (12.4k) and 43.9% to informal employment (9.74k).

Regarding the schooling years, the workforce was higher in the range with 16 to 18 years of schooling concentrating 51.9k workers of which 66.2%  corresponds to formal employment (34.3k) and 33.8% corresponds to informal employment (17.5k).
