In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $1.4T MX, 3.89% more than the previous quarter.

According DENUE 2024, Nondepository Credit Intermediation registered 2,829 economic units. The states with the highest number of economic units were Oaxaca (270), Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave (262), and Estado de México (232).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $134B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($126B MX) and Michoacán de Ocampo ($7.32B MX).
