The average age of Psychologists was 37.8 years. The workforce was distributed in 27.7% men with an average salary of $7.26k MX and, 72.3% women with average salary of $6.29k MX.

The best average salaries received by Psychologists were in Nayarit ($20.2k MX), Yucatán ($12.8k MX), and Sinaloa ($12.6k MX) while the workforce was larger in Ciudad de México (25.7k), Estado de México (23.7k), and Jalisco (13.7k).

In terms of industries, the best average salaries were in Residential Care Facilities for Persons with Mental Retardation, Mental Disorder and Addictions ($15.2k MX), Waste Collection ($10.8k MX), and Services Related to Air Transportation ($10k MX), while the workforce was concentrated on Medical Doctors Offices (132k), Justice Administration and Security and Public Order Preservation (7.56%), and Higher Technical Education Schools (18.4k).

The states with the highest number of Psychologists during the second quarter of 2024 were Ciudad de México (25.7k), Estado de México (23.7k), and Jalisco (13.7k)

Comparing the first quarter of 2021 and the second quarter of 2024, the main positive variations occurred in Ciudad de México and Querétaro with an increase of 2.96k (13%) and 1.44k (32.2%), respectively. On the other hand, the negative variations were accentuated in Baja California and Sinaloa with a decrease of 4.98k (66.4%) and 2.66k (46.9%), respectively.

Comparing the first quarter of 2021 and the second quarter of 2024, the positive salary growth was higher in Nayarit and Guerrero with an increase of $11.3k MX (126%) and $8.13k MX (2.17k%), respectively. Regarding the schooling years, the workforce was higher in the range with 16 to 18 years of schooling concentrating 132k workers of which 69.9%  corresponds to formal employment (92k) and 30.1% corresponds to informal employment (39.6k).
