The average age of Workers in Agriculture was 49.5 years. The workforce was distributed in 87.9% men with an average salary of $2.49k MX and, 12.1% women with average salary of $3.12k MX.

The best average salaries received by Workers in Agriculture were in Baja California Sur ($8.24k MX), Baja California ($8.12k MX), and Sonora ($7.78k MX) while the workforce was larger in Chiapas (435k), Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave (381k), and Oaxaca (357k).

In terms of industries, the best average salaries were in General Public Administration ($26k MX), Retail Trade of Computer Furniture, Equipment and Accessories; Telephones and other Communication Devices ($9.03k MX), and Legal Services ($7.8k MX), while the workforce was concentrated on Retail Trade of Groceries and Food (6.09k), Retail Trade of Household Furniture and other Household Goods (3.62k), and Employment Services (2.93k).

Comparing the first quarter of 2021 and the third quarter of 2024, the main positive variations occurred in Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave and Guerrero with an increase of 111k (41.3%) and 73.4k (32.1%), respectively. On the other hand, the negative variations were accentuated in Sonora and Yucatán with a decrease of 19.5k (40.6%) and 11.5k (32.8%), respectively.
