The states with the highest number of Hairdressers, Barbers, Stylists and Hairdressers during the third quarter of 2024 were Estado de México (70.2k), Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave (31.5k), and Ciudad de México (30.5k)

Comparing the first quarter of 2021 and the third quarter of 2024, the main positive variations occurred in Estado de México and Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave with an increase of 16.5k (30.7%) and 3.54k (12.7%), respectively. On the other hand, the negative variations were accentuated in Guanajuato and Ciudad de México with a decrease of 9.97k (37.7%) and 6.91k (18.5%), respectively.

Regarding the schooling years, the workforce was higher in the range with 10 to 12 years of schooling concentrating 207k workers of which 18%  corresponds to formal employment (37.1k) and 82% corresponds to informal employment (170k).
