In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $3.43T MX, 6.92% more than the previous quarter.

According DENUE 2024, Retail Trade of Stationery, Books, Magazines and Newspapers registered 134,406 economic units. The states with the highest number of economic units were Estado de México (28,884), Ciudad de México (16,735), and Puebla (9,266).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $21.5B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($4.6B MX) and Estado de México ($2.82B MX).

For its part, total income reached $61.3B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($12.8B MX) and Estado de México ($7.31B MX).

Economic activities are related if they require similar knowledge or inputs. In 2014 in Retail Trade of Stationery, Books, Magazines and Newspapers the states with the highest affinity were Querétaro (0.71), Nuevo León (0.67), Ciudad de México (0.64), Aguascalientes (0.6), and Jalisco (0.6).

In the second quarter of 2024, Retail Trade recorded a gross domestic product of $3.43T MX, evidencing an increase of 6.92% compared to the previous quarter and an increase of 7.32% compared to the same period of the previous year.

According to data from the Economic Census 2019,  128,916 economic units were totaled in Retail Trade of Stationery, Books, Magazines and Newspapers, highlighting Estado de México (28,034), Ciudad de México (16,449), and Puebla (8,697).

Total gross production was $21.5B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($4.6B MX) and Estado de México ($2.82B MX).

Total income reached $61.3B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($12.8B MX) and Estado de México ($7.31B MX).

According to dato from Economic Census 2014, Retail Trade of Stationery, Books, Magazines and Newspapers had a total of 353,946 economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of economic units were Ecatepec de Morelos (9.82k), Iztapalapa (9.58k), and Puebla (7.58k)

Total income eached $137B MX and the municipalities with the highest income were Cuauhtémoc ($7.39B MX), Puebla ($3.92B MX), and Guadalajara ($3.78B MX).

Total expenditures were $109B MX and the municipalities with the highest expenditures were Cuauhtémoc ($5.81B MX), Puebla ($3.15B MX), and Guadalajara ($2.99B MX).

On the other hand, in 2014 there were 623151 employees dependent on economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of employees were Cuauhtémoc (16.8k), Iztapalapa (15.1k), and Ecatepec de Morelos (14.1k).
