In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $3.43T MX, 6.92% more than the previous quarter.

According DENUE 2024, Retail Trade of Pets, Gifts, Religious Items, Disposables, Handicrafts and other Items for Personal Use registered 104,666 economic units. The states with the highest number of economic units were Estado de México (14,833), Ciudad de México (10,987), and Puebla (7,372).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $21.3B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($4.39B MX) and Jalisco ($2.55B MX).

For its part, total income reached $55.4B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($12.7B MX) and Jalisco ($6.25B MX).

Economic activities are related if they require similar knowledge or inputs. In 2014 in Retail Trade of Pets, Gifts, Religious Items, Disposables, Handicrafts and other Items for Personal Use the states with the highest affinity were Querétaro (0.65), Nuevo León (0.63), Jalisco (0.6), Chihuahua (0.59), and Ciudad de México (0.58).

In the second quarter of 2024, Retail Trade recorded a gross domestic product of $3.43T MX, evidencing an increase of 6.92% compared to the previous quarter and an increase of 7.32% compared to the same period of the previous year.

According to data from the Economic Census 2019,  94,889 economic units were totaled in Retail Trade of Pets, Gifts, Religious Items, Disposables, Handicrafts and other Items for Personal Use, highlighting Estado de México (13,734), Ciudad de México (10,480), and Jalisco (6,728).

Total gross production was $21.3B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($4.39B MX) and Jalisco ($2.55B MX).

Total income reached $55.4B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($12.7B MX) and Jalisco ($6.25B MX).

According to dato from Economic Census 2014, Retail Trade of Pets, Gifts, Religious Items, Disposables, Handicrafts and other Items for Personal Use had a total of 248,688 economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of economic units were Cuauhtémoc (6.86k), Guadalajara (4.89k), and Puebla (4.77k)

Total income eached $76B MX and the municipalities with the highest income were Cuauhtémoc ($5.74B MX), Guadalajara ($3.07B MX), and Tlalnepantla de Baz ($2.38B MX).

Total expenditures were $59.7B MX and the municipalities with the highest expenditures were Cuauhtémoc ($4.45B MX), Guadalajara ($2.43B MX), and Cuajimalpa de Morelos ($1.85B MX).

On the other hand, in 2014 there were 432786 employees dependent on economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of employees were Cuauhtémoc (16.5k), Guadalajara (11k), and Puebla (9.54k).
