In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $624B MX, 2.75% less than the previous quarter.
According DENUE 2024, Associations and Religious, Political and Civil Organizations registered 100,826 economic units. The states with the highest number of economic units were Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave (8,398), Estado de México (7,564), and Chiapas (6,991).
According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $11.7B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($3.77B MX) and Jalisco ($1.21B MX).
For its part, total income reached $13.5B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($4.66B MX) and Jalisco ($1.24B MX).
Economic activities are related if they require similar knowledge or inputs. In 2014 in Associations and Religious, Political and Civil Organizations the states with the highest affinity were Sonora (0.74), Chihuahua (0.73), Coahuila de Zaragoza (0.7), Nuevo León (0.67), and Baja California (0.66).

Total income eached $24.2B MX and the municipalities with the highest income were Miguel Hidalgo ($3.33B MX), Cuauhtémoc ($2.44B MX), and Monterrey ($2.44B MX).
Total expenditures were $10.9B MX and the municipalities with the highest expenditures were Monterrey ($1.6B MX), Miguel Hidalgo ($1.37B MX), and Cuauhtémoc ($1.04B MX).
