In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $2.8T MX, 0.95% more than the previous quarter.

According DENUE 2024, Activities Related to Real Estate registered 6,977 economic units. The states with the highest number of economic units were Ciudad de México (1,075), Jalisco (673), and Estado de México (483).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $40.8B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($13.8B MX) and Guerrero ($6.71B MX).

For its part, total income reached $41.7B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($14.4B MX) and Guerrero ($6.7B MX).

Economic activities are related if they require similar knowledge or inputs. In 2014 in Activities Related to Real Estate the states with the highest affinity were Nuevo León (0.76), Chihuahua (0.74), Baja California (0.7), Sonora (0.7), and Coahuila de Zaragoza (0.68).

In the second quarter of 2024, Real Estate and Rental and Leasing recorded a gross domestic product of $2.8T MX, evidencing an increase of 0.95% compared to the previous quarter and an increase of 4.67% compared to the same period of the previous year.

According to data from the Economic Census 2019,  6,367 economic units were totaled in Activities Related to Real Estate, highlighting Ciudad de México (1,011), Jalisco (615), and Estado de México (443).

Total gross production was $40.8B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($13.8B MX) and Guerrero ($6.71B MX).

Total income reached $41.7B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($14.4B MX) and Guerrero ($6.7B MX).

According to dato from Economic Census 2014, Activities Related to Real Estate had a total of 10,470 economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of economic units were Cuauhtémoc (552), Guadalajara (465), and Benito Juárez (426)

Total income eached $38.7B MX and the municipalities with the highest income were Miguel Hidalgo ($6.6B MX), Benito Juárez ($3.97B MX), and Monterrey ($2.7B MX).

Total expenditures were $20B MX and the municipalities with the highest expenditures were Miguel Hidalgo ($3.43B MX), Benito Juárez ($3.2B MX), and Monterrey ($1.39B MX).

On the other hand, in 2014 there were 71286 employees dependent on economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of employees were Miguel Hidalgo (5.54k), Acapulco de Juárez (3.32k), and Cuauhtémoc (3.09k).

According to DENUE data published in May 2024, 5,960 companies with 0 to 10 employees were registered (20 companies more than the previous period). In the same period, 876 companies with 11 to 50 employees were registered (26 companies less than the previous period).

93 companies with 51 to 100 employees were registered in 2024 (1 companies less than the previous period). Likewise, 48 companies with more than 101 employees were registered (2 companies less than the previous period).

The degree of specialization is measured using the RCA index, which represents the ratio between the observed and expected establishments of each state for each industry.

The states with the highest degree of development opportunity in Activities Related to Real Estate according to Relatedness were Coahuila de Zaragoza (0.68), San Luis Potosí (0.52), and Tamaulipas (0.49).
