The main product bought by Mexico from Spain in 2023 was Motor Cars and other Vehicles Principally Designed Cars for Transport of Persons (US$506M). The main destinations of purchases made to Spain were Ciudad de México (US$2.09B), Estado de México (US$812M), and Puebla (US$741M).

In the period January to June 2024, the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) from Spain to Mexico is -US$220M. In the same period, the states that received the highest FDI from Spain were Ciudad de México (US$218M), Guanajuato (US$88M), and Quintana Roo (US$24.7M).
