The average age of Public Inspectors was 40.3 years. The workforce was distributed in 68.4% men with an average salary of $12.1k MX and, 31.6% women with average salary of $9.84k MX.

The best average salaries received by Public Inspectors were in Estado de México ($24.1k MX), Nuevo León ($24k MX), and Michoacán de Ocampo ($20.4k MX) while the workforce was larger in Michoacán de Ocampo (3.51k), Jalisco (3.41k), and Ciudad de México (3.41k).

In terms of industries, the best average salaries were in Legal Services ($22.1k MX), Foundations, Prefabricated Structures Assembly and Exterior Construction Works ($20k MX), and Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance ($20k MX), while the workforce was concentrated on General Public Administration (22.4%), Regulation and Promotion of Economic Developmen (22.4%), and Regulation and Promotion of Economic Development (22.4%).

Comparing the first quarter of 2021 and the first quarter of 2026, the main positive variations occurred in Michoacán de Ocampo and Jalisco with an increase of 2.19k (166%) and 1.65k (93.1%), respectively. On the other hand, the negative variations were accentuated in Guanajuato and Ciudad de México with a decrease of 3.66k (65.2%) and 2.76k (44.7%), respectively.

Regarding the schooling years, the workforce was higher in the range with 16 to 18 years of schooling concentrating 27.3k workers of which 87%  corresponds to formal employment (23.7k) and 13% corresponds to informal employment (3.53k).
