In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $289B MX, 8.56% more than the previous quarter.

According DENUE 2024, Waste Collection registered 999 economic units. The states with the highest number of economic units were Estado de México (163), Ciudad de México (92), and Nuevo León (67).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $10.9B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Estado de México ($1.17B MX) and Ciudad de México ($1.12B MX).

For its part, total income reached $11B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($1.18B MX) and Estado de México ($1.17B MX).

Economic activities are related if they require similar knowledge or inputs. In 2014 in Waste Collection the states with the highest affinity were Nuevo León (0.76), Chihuahua (0.76), Coahuila de Zaragoza (0.72), Sonora (0.72), and Baja California (0.71).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019,  597 economic units were totaled in Waste Collection, highlighting Estado de México (60), Jalisco (55), and Baja California (50).

Total gross production was $10.9B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Estado de México ($1.17B MX) and Ciudad de México ($1.12B MX).

Total income reached $11B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($1.18B MX) and Estado de México ($1.17B MX).

According to dato from Economic Census 2014, Waste Collection had a total of 1,653 economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of economic units were Guadalajara (66), León (60), and Monterrey (57)

Total income eached $21.6B MX and the municipalities with the highest income were León ($1.67B MX), Centro ($1.35B MX), and Juárez ($1.18B MX).

Total expenditures were $12.4B MX and the municipalities with the highest expenditures were Juárez ($852M MX), Saltillo ($803M MX), and Centro ($690M MX).

On the other hand, in 2014 there were 48495 employees dependent on economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of employees were León (8.68k), Centro (7k), and Cuauhtémoc (4.33k).

According to DENUE data published in November 2024, 632 companies with 0 to 10 employees were registered (213 companies more than the previous period). In the same period, 270 companies with 11 to 50 employees were registered (18 companies less than the previous period).

50 companies with 51 to 100 employees were registered in 2024 (6 companies more than the previous period). Likewise, 47 companies with more than 101 employees were registered (15 companies more than the previous period).
