In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $2.39T MX, 10.9% more than the previous quarter.

According to data from the Economic Census 2019,  1,294 economic units were totaled in Utility system Construction, highlighting Ciudad de México (106), Jalisco (87), and Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave (75).

Total gross production was $72.3B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($27.2B MX) and Tabasco ($9.43B MX).

According to dato from Economic Census 2014, Utility system Construction had a total of 2,448 economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of economic units were Mérida (153), Tuxtla Gutiérrez (102), and Centro (99)

Total income eached $182B MX and the municipalities with the highest income were Centro ($54B MX), Benito Juárez ($36.4B MX), and Carmen ($22.6B MX).

Total expenditures were $125B MX and the municipalities with the highest expenditures were Centro ($40.9B MX), Benito Juárez ($24.2B MX), and Miguel Hidalgo ($11.9B MX).

On the other hand, in 2014 there were 97071 employees dependent on economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of employees were Benito Juárez (25.5k), Centro (4.77k), and Carmen (3.26k).
