In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $6.58T MX, 5.06% more than the previous quarter.

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $3.29T MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Coahuila de Zaragoza ($559B MX) and Guanajuato ($447B MX).

For its part, total income reached $3.37T MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Coahuila de Zaragoza ($569B MX) and Guanajuato ($449B MX).

Economic activities are related if they require similar knowledge or inputs. In 2014 in Transportation Equipment Manufacturing the states with the highest affinity were Sonora (0.81), Chihuahua (0.77), Nuevo León (0.76), Querétaro (0.75), and Coahuila de Zaragoza (0.73).

In the second quarter of 2024, Manufacturing recorded a gross domestic product of $6.58T MX, evidencing an increase of 5.06% compared to the previous quarter and an increase of 2.27% compared to the same period of the previous year.

According to data from the Economic Census 2019,  3,250 economic units were totaled in Transportation Equipment Manufacturing, highlighting Estado de México (320), Nuevo León (277), and Puebla (276).

Total gross production was $3.29T MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Coahuila de Zaragoza ($559B MX) and Guanajuato ($447B MX).

According to dato from Economic Census 2014, Transportation Equipment Manufacturing had a total of 6,114 economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of economic units were Juárez (288), Iztapalapa (189), and Chihuahua (171)

Total income eached $4.26T MX and the municipalities with the highest income were Cuautlancingo ($507B MX), Hermosillo ($412B MX), and Ramos Arizpe ($341B MX).

Total expenditures were $3.35T MX and the municipalities with the highest expenditures were Cuautlancingo ($366B MX), Hermosillo ($339B MX), and Ramos Arizpe ($294B MX).

On the other hand, in 2014 there were 1614732 employees dependent on economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of employees were Juárez (207k), Matamoros (78.8k), and Chihuahua (76.4k).

According to the age of the economic units, the distribution of those that obtained financing was 17% of the recently created (up to 2 years) units, 27.1% of the youth (3 to 5 years) units, 22.8% of the adults (6 to 10 years) units, and 24.5% of the seniors (over 10 years) units.

The states with the highest percentage of economic units that received financing were Querétaro (41.1%), Aguascalientes (39%), San Luis Potosí (35.7%), Morelos (34.6%), and Guanajuato (33.2%).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, the main problems faced by the economic units of Transportation Equipment Manufacturing with up to 10 workers are another problems (18.1%), public insecurity (16.8%), high costs of raw materials (13.8%), and high taxes (12.6%).

Of the total staff employed in large economic units, 1.91% was employed in product innovation activities, 1.88% in process innovation, 0.19% in market innovation, 1.31% in organizational innovation, and 0.49% in innovation for technological adaptation and documentation.
