In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $6.58T MX, 5.06% more than the previous quarter.

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $4.03B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Durango ($1.51B MX) and Chihuahua ($1.09B MX).

For its part, total income reached $4.1B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Durango ($1.57B MX) and Chihuahua ($1.1B MX).

Economic activities are related if they require similar knowledge or inputs. In 2014 in Sawmills and Wood Preservation the states with the highest affinity were Chihuahua (0.75), Sonora (0.64), Nuevo León (0.62), Coahuila de Zaragoza (0.62), and Querétaro (0.61).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019,  1,107 economic units were totaled in Sawmills and Wood Preservation, highlighting Michoacán de Ocampo (495), Chihuahua (94), and Durango (64).

Total gross production was $4.03B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Durango ($1.51B MX) and Chihuahua ($1.09B MX).
