In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $3.43T MX, 6.92% more than the previous quarter.
According DENUE 2024, Retail Footwear registered 47,287 economic units. The states with the highest number of economic units were Estado de México (6,359), Guanajuato (3,848), and Ciudad de México (3,695).
According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $33.5B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($3.47B MX) and Estado de México ($2.86B MX).
For its part, total income reached $85B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($8.53B MX) and Estado de México ($7.47B MX).
Economic activities are related if they require similar knowledge or inputs. In 2014 in Retail Footwear the states with the highest affinity were Chihuahua (0.61), Sonora (0.58), Coahuila de Zaragoza (0.57), Nuevo León (0.57), and Querétaro (0.55).

Total gross production was $33.5B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($3.47B MX) and Estado de México ($2.86B MX).

Total income eached $140B MX and the municipalities with the highest income were León ($7.26B MX), Puebla ($6.26B MX), and Cuauhtémoc ($4.58B MX).
Total expenditures were $113B MX and the municipalities with the highest expenditures were León ($5.97B MX), Puebla ($5.2B MX), and Cuauhtémoc ($3.82B MX).

33 companies with 51 to 100 employees were registered in 2024 (4 companies less than the previous period). Likewise, 23 companies with more than 101 employees were registered (equal number of companies as the previous period).
