In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $624B MX, 2.75% less than the previous quarter.

According DENUE 2024, Repair and Maintenance registered 395,418 economic units. The states with the highest number of economic units were Estado de México (49,723), Ciudad de México (30,419), and Jalisco (27,067).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $185B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($21.9B MX) and Estado de México ($17.1B MX).

For its part, total income reached $186B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($22.1B MX) and Estado de México ($17.2B MX).

Economic activities are related if they require similar knowledge or inputs. In 2014 in Repair and Maintenance the states with the highest affinity were Sonora (0.83), Chihuahua (0.77), Coahuila de Zaragoza (0.72), Sinaloa (0.71), and Nuevo León (0.71).

During the second quarter of 2024 in Repair and Maintenance the workforce was 3.63M people, 88.4% men and 11.6% women. In addition, the average monthly salary informed was $6.22k MX.

According to data from the Economic Census 2019,  374,950 economic units were totaled in Repair and Maintenance, highlighting Estado de México (47,465), Ciudad de México (29,695), and Jalisco (25,937).

Total gross production was $185B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($21.9B MX) and Estado de México ($17.1B MX).

According to dato from Economic Census 2014, Repair and Maintenance had a total of 1,030,473 economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of economic units were Guadalajara (22.7k), Puebla (18k), and Ecatepec de Morelos (17.6k)

Total income eached $300B MX and the municipalities with the highest income were Monterrey ($11.4B MX), Guadalajara ($8.99B MX), and Miguel Hidalgo ($7.36B MX).

Total expenditures were $167B MX and the municipalities with the highest expenditures were Monterrey ($6.42B MX), Miguel Hidalgo ($5.52B MX), and Benito Juárez ($5.36B MX).

On the other hand, in 2014 there were 2183529 employees dependent on economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of employees were Guadalajara (57.9k), Monterrey (45.8k), and Mexicali (45.8k).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, the distribution of economic units according to size that had access to financing was 8.14% units with up to 10 people, 24.3% units with 11 to 50 people, 43.7% units with 51 to 250 people, and 50% units with 251 and more people.

According to the age of the economic units, the distribution of those that obtained financing was 9.69% of the recently created (up to 2 years) units, 8.74% of the youth (3 to 5 years) units, 8.08% of the adults (6 to 10 years) units, and 7.72% of the seniors (over 10 years) units.

The states with the highest percentage of economic units that received financing were Oaxaca (13.5%), Querétaro (13.3%), Colima (11.7%), Guerrero (11.1%), and Morelos (11.1%).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, the main problems faced by the economic units of Repair and Maintenance with up to 10 workers are public insecurity (21.3%), another problems (16.8%), high taxes (15.8%), and high costs of raw materials (9.87%).

Of the total staff employed in large economic units, 8.15% was employed in product innovation activities, 5.08% in process innovation, 1.41% in market innovation, 5.79% in organizational innovation, and 1.45% in innovation for technological adaptation and documentation.

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, the lowercase Repair and Maintenance Subsector had 61 economic units that had qualified staff in technological research and development activities, 7 economic units had it for research and technological development in the field of Biotechnology and 9 economic units for research and technological development in Nanotechnology.

In the same year, 15 economic units had qualified personnel in the registration or processing of patents for brands, products or processes, and 11 economic units had this type of staff to contracts or acquisition of patents for brands, products or processes.
