In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $458B MX, 6.25% more than the previous quarter.

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $48.4B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($11.7B MX) and Estado de México ($7.52B MX).

For its part, total income reached $48.8B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($11.9B MX) and Estado de México ($7.56B MX).

Economic activities are related if they require similar knowledge or inputs. In 2014 in Motion Picture and Video Industries the states with the highest affinity were Nuevo León (0.77), Chihuahua (0.76), Sonora (0.71), Coahuila de Zaragoza (0.71), and Baja California (0.71).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019,  1,342 economic units were totaled in Motion Picture and Video Industries, highlighting Ciudad de México (292), Estado de México (140), and Jalisco (87).

Total gross production was $48.4B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($11.7B MX) and Estado de México ($7.52B MX).

Total income reached $48.8B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($11.9B MX) and Estado de México ($7.56B MX).

According to dato from Economic Census 2014, Motion Picture and Video Industries had a total of 1,848 economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of economic units were Cuauhtémoc (252), Miguel Hidalgo (195), and Benito Juárez (183)

Total income eached $64.8B MX and the municipalities with the highest income were Coyoacán ($16.5B MX), Miguel Hidalgo ($8.11B MX), and Benito Juárez ($2.5B MX).

Total expenditures were $33.5B MX and the municipalities with the highest expenditures were Coyoacán ($10.3B MX), Miguel Hidalgo ($6.67B MX), and Benito Juárez ($1.31B MX).
