In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $1.4T MX, 3.89% more than the previous quarter.

According DENUE 2024, Investment Bank, Stock Exchange and Currency Exchange registered 3,645 economic units. The states with the highest number of economic units were Baja California (564), Chihuahua (364), and Tamaulipas (363).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $25.9B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($22.8B MX) and Nuevo León ($1.15B MX).

For its part, total income reached $285B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($278B MX) and Nuevo León ($4.87B MX).

Economic activities are related if they require similar knowledge or inputs. In 2014 in Investment Bank, Stock Exchange and Currency Exchange the states with the highest affinity were Nuevo León (0.78), Chihuahua (0.77), Coahuila de Zaragoza (0.73), Sonora (0.72), and Baja California (0.71).

In the second quarter of 2024, Finance and Insurance recorded a gross domestic product of $1.4T MX, evidencing an increase of 3.89% compared to the previous quarter and an increase of 6.73% compared to the same period of the previous year.

According to data from the Economic Census 2019,  2,974 economic units were totaled in Investment Bank, Stock Exchange and Currency Exchange, highlighting Baja California (466), Tamaulipas (329), and Chihuahua (314).

Total gross production was $25.9B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($22.8B MX) and Nuevo León ($1.15B MX).

Total income reached $285B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($278B MX) and Nuevo León ($4.87B MX).

According to dato from Economic Census 2014, Investment Bank, Stock Exchange and Currency Exchange had a total of 5,076 economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of economic units were Mexicali (435), Matamoros (264), and Nuevo Laredo (216)

Total income eached $274B MX and the municipalities with the highest income were Cuauhtémoc ($120B MX), Miguel Hidalgo ($114B MX), and Álvaro Obregón ($22.5B MX).

Total expenditures were $232B MX and the municipalities with the highest expenditures were Cuauhtémoc ($104B MX), Miguel Hidalgo ($102B MX), and Álvaro Obregón ($14.7B MX).

On the other hand, in 2014 there were 31956 employees dependent on economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of employees were Cuauhtémoc (7.97k), Miguel Hidalgo (7.6k), and Álvaro Obregón (3.5k).
