In the fourth quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $1.45T MX, 19.6% more than the previous quarter.

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $12B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Sonora ($4.16B MX) and Sinaloa ($3.18B MX).

For its part, total income reached $12.2B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Sonora ($4.26B MX) and Sinaloa ($3.28B MX).

Economic activities are related if they require similar knowledge or inputs. In 2014 in Animal Production and Aquaculture the states with the highest affinity were Sonora (0.74), Baja California Sur (0.67), Sinaloa (0.66), Colima (0.66), and Chihuahua (0.65).
