The main product bought by Mexico from Ecuador in 2023 was Cocoa Beans, whole or Broken, Raw or Roasted (US$60.8M). The main destinations of purchases made to Ecuador were Ciudad de México (US$121M), Jalisco (US$32.8M), and Chihuahua (US$14.7M).

In the period January to June 2024, the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) from Ecuador to Mexico is US$5.48M. In the same period, the states that received the highest FDI from Ecuador were Ciudad de México (US$3.32M), Estado de México (Confidential), and Quintana Roo (US$295k).
