The main product bought by Mexico from Canada in 2023 was Parts and Accessories of Motor Vehicles (US$1.76B). The main destinations of purchases made to Canada were Ciudad de México (US$3.82B), Nuevo León (US$1.13B), and Jalisco (US$1.06B).

In the period January to June 2024, the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) from Canada to Mexico is US$2.41B. In the same period, the states that received the highest FDI from Canada were Ciudad de México (US$1.09B), Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave (Confidential), and Querétaro (US$151M).
